Adult (ACT) Programs
- At least 18 years of age or 17 with written parental/guardian permission

Apprenticeship Programs
- At least 18 years of age
- Citizen or Legal Alien (INS)
- High School Diploma or GED (Electrical)
- Pass a drug screen
- Interview with committee
Veterans
The Craft Training Center of the Coastal Bend is approved by the Texas Veterans Commission to receive benefits under the Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 30), Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33), Selected Reserve Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 1606), and Dependents Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 35).
- Qualify for benefits under one of the accepted programs
- Have available Veterans funds to cover tuition costs
- Pass a drug screen
